Meet the Largest and Most Advanced Air Purifier from Hunter

Meet the HP980 AirMax Air Purifier. Our newest addition to our air purifier family can improve the indoor air quality of your whole home. This is our largest unit to date! It is perfect for other large spaces as well, like classrooms, office spaces, church, workout studio or even an industrial environment.

How it Works

The AirMax Industrial Strength Air Purifier uses built-in VOC and particle sensors so the machine can automatically adjust the fan speed based on the current air quality. It can clean the air in a 640 sq. ft. room 4.8 times each hour or 115 times each day. This large air purifier features a powerful internal fan that pulls air from 360-degrees into the air purifier before the air enters a 3-stage filtration process. The air first passes through an EcoSilver pre-filter, where larger airborne particles such as pet hair and dander are trapped. The True HEPA filter captures up to 99.97% of the smaller particles that make it past the pre-filter, as small as 0.3 microns in size. Finally, the particles pass through granular carbon to reduce household odors from cooking, cleaning, smoking, and pets. The clean air then enters back into your large space for a healthier environment.

Innovative Features

    • Fan Speeds: 4 fan speeds to choose from; low, medium, high & turbo

    • VOC and Particle Sensor: automatically adjusts fan speed based on the current air quality
    • Sleep Mode: turns off the accent lights and lowers the fan speed to low for 8 hours
    • Energy Star Certified: will help lower energy consumption.
    • Remote Included: for convenient access

Filter Replacement

To make sure your air purifier is running efficiently, you will need to change the filters on a regular basis. The AirMax Industrial Strength Air Purifier uses two filters: a HEPA filter and a pre-filter. The air purifier features a filter replacement indicator to remind you when it is time to change the filters. However, as a rule of thumb, your HEPA filter should be changed every 6-12 months and the pre-filter should be changed every 3 months. Your filters may need to be changed more often depending on environmental factors. Make sure after you replace your filters, you reset your filter indicator light.
