Assembly
  • In 2020 DOE changed the testing regulations for Dehumidifiers which affected pint sizes. The new standards more accurately reflect realistic room conditions. As a result of these changes, it is recommended that a dehumidifier is chosen based on room conditions and not pint sizes. 
  • Leave 12-18 inches of space on the rear and sides of dehumidifier for models with back louver and above the dehumidifier for models with top louvers.
  • Choose a surface strong and level enough to support unit once bucket is full of water.
  • Keep all doors, windows and other openings closed when operating dehumidifier. Humid outdoor air increases the unit's workload and increases energy consumption. 
  • Install unit in an area where temperature will not fall below 
    • 38-degrees to avoid freezing. 
  • Do not block louvers of unit.

Hunter Pure Air orders will ship either FedEx or USPS.

FedEx generally does not deliver to PO boxes, and USPS may not be able to deliver to your street address if you have a PO box listed as your mailing address.
